 2007 has started out with a bang for RUM Entertainment 

with a number of artists hitting great heights.

 

Congratulations to Felicity Urquhart, taking out Video Of The Year, with director Glenn Wilson at the 2007 CMAA Australian CM Awards (Golden Guitars). Felicity Urquhart and Graham Rodger both performed on the awards, with 3 and 2 nominations respectively.

 

Felicity Urquhart’s single BIG BLACK CLOUD stayed at #1 for 3 weeks 

on the Top 30 Country Tracks chart.

Wolverines single UP AND DONE DIED stayed at #1 for 2 weeks

on the top 100 Country Hits chart.

 

 

Graham Rodger has taken out three awards at the 

2007 TSA Songwriters Salute to Australia Awards for:

BUSH BALLAD OF THE YEAR - Graham Rodger – What’s Country All About

COUNTRY BALLAD OF THE YEAR - Graham Rodger & Alan McPherson – The Battle Of Long Tan

PROFESSIONAL SECTION TSA National Country Songwriting Contest - Graham Rodger

 

Awards were raining at the 2007 Australian CM People’s Choice Awards

with the Wolverines the big winners collecting two:

BEST ALBUM - Wolverines – Good Times

BEST SONG - Wolverines – Angel Eyes

BEST FEMALE VOCAL - Felicity Urquhart

BEST BUSH BALLAD - Dean Perrett – Would Clancy Be Welcome?

BEST HERITAGE SONG - Dale Duncan & Gordon Parsons – Malabar Mansion

 

Victoria Baillie and Sharnee Fenwick both were named Grandfinalists at the 2007 Toyota Starmaker, with Sharnee also being named a Grandfinalist in the Telstra Road To Tamworth.

 

Paul Costa made Top 5 on the Top 30 country tracks chart and on the Top 100 Country Hits chart with his duet with Aleyce Simmonds ‘The Way You make Me Feel’.

 

Sharnee Fenwick ’s single ‘How ‘Bout Never’ made Top 5 on the Top 100 Country Hits chart and Top 10 on the Top 30 Country Track.
