It has been a sea of awards over the past month.

 

Felicity Urquhart was named the 2006 CMAA Achiever Awards 

INDEPENDENT ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR.

 

Congratulations to four of our artists who took out six awards at the

2006 AUSTRALIAN INDEPENDENT CM AWARDS:

 

Felicity Urquhart – 3 x winner – Female Vocalist Of the Year 

/ Single Of The Year / Album Of The Year

Paul Costa – Artist Of The Year

 

Dean Perrett – Heritage Track Of The Year

 

Victoria Baillie – Rising Female Star

 

Two acts took out three awards at the 2006 AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY RECORDING AWARDS:

Dean Perrett – 2 x winner - Bush Ballad Album Of The Year / Stan Coster Memorial Award

Reg Poole – Male Vocalist Of The Year

 

Congrats to Victoria Baillie being named 2006 TAS & NZ INDEPENDENT EP OF THE YEAR, and to her producers Stuie French & Rod Motbey picking up PRODUCERS OF THE YEAR.

 

Finalists in the 2006 Musicoz Awards Australia’s Biggest Independent awards:

Matt Scullion – Country / Folk

Victoria Baillie – Country / Christian & Gospel

Felicity Urquhart – Country

Mistin – Country

 

Finalists in the upcoming 2006 ACE (Australian Club Entertainment) Awards:

Wolverines – Country Group/Band

Felicity Urquhart – Country Female Performer

 

We also have three FINALISTS in the 1233 ABC Newcastle Music Awards 2006 for:

Gary Shearan and track Silly Duffer (Country Artist Of The Year)

Nick Cesta and track Ordinary Man (Country Artist Of The Year)

Carol Donovan and track Look In The Mirror (Combined Gospel & Theatre Artist Of The Year)

 

Ronni Rae Rivers has again picked up a nomination at the WAM Song Of The Year for Country Song of the Year.

 

Sovereign made #2 on the Top 100 Country Hits chart too.

 

We also welcome Nick Cesta to the RUM fold.
